The proposed Visitor Centre will be developed from an existing barn which sits on a site adjacent to Barcham Trees existing site. The area where the barn sits will accommodate parking for visitors and an outdoor selling space for plants. The barn itself will have a retail space inside selling gifts etc and a cafe area for serving approximately 145 covers with outdoor dining and picnic areas. The design will need to reflect the functionality of the site but also be of a suitable quality to reflect the existing Barcham Trees brand and to attract repeat visits. The implementation of flexible collaborative working within the organisation facilitated a clear and efficient work environment that produced high-quality information for the client at a rapid speed.

The success of the project has allowed the client to expedite construction on site ahead of predicted schedule.

The application shall include flood mitigation measures and S278 works for to Eye Hill Drove and subsequently the entrance to the proposed site of Barcham Trees Visitor Centre and Cafe.
