Encouraging a Diverse and Inclusive Studio

Equality, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI) in the workplace are critical elements of a successful business. Companies must ensure that all employees are treated fairly and respectfully regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or other factors. Many companies have implemented an equality, diversity, and inclusivity policy to ensure everyone in the workplace is respected, included, and valued. Our policy and initiatives reflect our commitment to promoting EDI in our Environmental social and governance policy (ESG) and we will continue to strive towards creating an even more diverse and inclusive team.

This article will outline the critical aspects of our approach and the initiatives we have implemented to encourage a diverse and inclusive team. At SPD Studio, diversity is a strength that drives innovation and growth. We are committed to creating a workplace free from discrimination and bias, where everyone is valued and respected regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability.

SPD Studio focuses on several key areas:

Recruitment and Selection: We ensure that our recruitment and selection processes are fair and unbiased and attract diverse candidates. We also provide reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities. We are hiring for various roles at the moment which can be found on our website and are proud to offer competitive wages and benefits, as well as a dynamic and exciting work environment. Flexible Working: We offer flexible working arrangements to accommodate different needs and preferences, such as working from home, part-time work, and job-sharing.

Our equality, diversity and inclusivity policy is not just a piece of paper; it is something we actively promote and encourage within our company. We promote a culture of respect, dialogue and collaboration and provide our employees with the support and resources

As part of out Studio, we have an EDI champion representative for our ESG policy which effectively helps spread awareness as part of the promote, inform, and educate our workforce and stakeholders of the benefits of a fair and balanced work community.

To ensure the success of our policy, we regularly review the effectiveness of our practices and make changes where necessary. We also provide regular training and development opportunities to ensure everyone knows our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

While we tell ourselves that times are changing and the world is a more equitable place, this is not what evidence has shown us. We are dedicated and hands-on in the active change that is necessary and happening around us.
